This article presents theoretical background for the computer use in preprimary education. The authors of the article have established a set of teacher`s competencies based on foreign sources in English language and the professional experience of the authors. INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD IN INSTRUCTION

The paper is focused on the interactive whiteboards and interactive education - teaching and learning in the information age. Interactive whiteboards are used in many schools as replacements for traditional whiteboards or flipcharts. They allow teachers to easily and rapidly create customised learning objects from a range of existing content and adapt it to the needs of the class in real time.

The artical is based on the results of J. Bruner´s research on the structure of curriculum contents as presented by M. Pasch. The authors present the initial concept of the so-called generalizations for the technical subjects instruction in primary education. They also deal with connections of generalizations and the relationship of facts and generalizations from the viewpoint of generalizations accuracy.

The teaching process may be optimised through appropriate texts. The paper presents selected results of a questionnaire survey. It deals with opinions of teachers on the secondary level of basic school and lower level of multi-year gymnasium (grammar school) on selected types of didactic texts, auxiliary teaching materials and "non-didactic texts" for teaching of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and digital technologies.

Authors give information about the main aim of the research as well the main hypothesis and name working hypotheses. In the article is described in detail traditional technological process of textile proceeding in Horehronie - from flax and cannabis growing through their collection, drying, grassing, retting, beating, scutching, gilling, spinning, taking-up, washing, drying, wraping, weaving, over the changing of textile by colouring. Described technologies can be inspirative for elementary teachers, they can be integrated into educational process and thus can serve as medium of not only pupils' manual skills development, but even as development of their technical thinking and technical creativity, and also regional consciousness.

The article deals with questions of didactic testing with support of Visual Basic 6 at lower secondary schools. It presents some issues of didactic tests' creation and explains which parts consist of didactic test software; the selection selection of programming language from compatibility and development point of view is emphasized.
