Aims and Scope
JTIE (Journal of Technology and Information Education) is an independent scientific journal that focuses on publishing research results, theoretical studies and professional papers in the field of subject-specific didactics. Since 2018, its structure has covered the entire scope of subject-specific didactics of technical (engineering) subjects, subject-specific didactics of informatics and digital technologies, and subject-specific didactics of natural science disciplines (chemistry, physics, geography, natural history, ecology), including mathematics.
Within other subject-specific didactics (e.g. art education, history, music education, foreign languages, Czech language and literature, etc.), articles focused on the use of digital technologies (ICT) in education are published.
Besides the school education (pre-primary, primary, high school and university education), it is focused thematically also on the issues of informal and non-formal education.
There are published only articles that belong into the AM category – Pedagogy and education.
