AB General educational programs, which are implemented today in the educational practice of schools, require students´ preparation to find their place in the world of work. The article focuses on selected context of the students´ preparation for career decision, especially on connections between the self-knowledge and self-presentation of students, namely which are based on the findings of student's opinions on the preparation in secondary schools using a questionnaire.
