A State education program, which fundamentally changes the content, methods and forms of all levels of education, was approved in year 2008. The State education program for schools according to the new school law is a hierarchically top project of education, which involves a frame model of an absolvent, frame curriculum of the educational level and its syllabus. ICT APPLICATION IN NATURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION

This paper is focussed on effective approach to teaching and learning in education, especially disciplins in natural and engineering science. There are shown innovative approaches to teaching process, impact of ICT in teaching and learning, e.g. e-learning, collaborative learning and blended learning. There is accented pedagogical and psychological aspect of students motivation in engineering disciplins and ICT influence in development of key competences.

Modern technical educational means, including an interactive board, are being implemented into educational process increasingly. Therefore we focused on the most common types of interactive boards in the entry; we also present partial results of the survey which dealt with the problems of an interactive board usage in lessons - to find out concrete types of interactive boards used by teachers of primary and secondary schools in Olomoucký and Moravskoslezský region.

In Slovak Republic, the school reform proceeds the second year. It has dramatically affected the content and extent of the subject which is supposed to fill they key competence in the field of technology. The author presents the results of a questionnaire, received by managing of the website EduTech Portal. The obtained data point to the fact that primary schools tend to assign technical subjects to their school programs.

In the last few years teaching in accordance with new curricular documents reflecting the school educational programmes of individual schools was gradually implemented on the level of basic education. The article deals with innovative methods of physics education in physical subjects. There is described and evaluated educational experiment at the Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology in Technical University in Zvolen, where we measured the impact of innovative methods for learning outcomes of students in physics. The conclusion summarizes the results of this experiment.
